National Shooting

Another piece of Rho’s history

The inauguration of a section of National Shooting in Rho dates back to 1884, when the city was still a small village of about 8,000 inhabitants and the shooting range was located in the countryside outside the town, but along the route of the Sempionr State Road at the time.
In the years to come, the number of visitors to the shooting range became more and more numerous, reaching 410 members in 1900 out of just under 10,000 inhabitants.

An increasingly topical discipline

In recent years, the discipline of shooting has found new vitality and has begun to spread more and more even among women and young people.
More than 130 years after its inauguration, the National Shooting Club of Rho is still in full activity at the service of law enforcement as well as sport.
