Under the Sky of Gaza: the horror of war told through a series of themed events
On the occasion of the photographic exhibition “Under the Sky of Gaza” displayed in the atrium of the Town Hall in Piazza Visconti 23 from November 3 to 14, a conference will be held on the evening of November 8 at 8:30 PM at the Tourist Infopoint in Piazza San Vittore 19. Speakers will include Alba Bonetti, president of Amnesty International Italy; Chantal Antonizzi, member of the SWANA coordination of Amnesty International Italy; Elena Castellani, activist of Assopace Palestina; and Mauro Gentile, artistic director of Caminante | Teatro Selvaggio. The conference will be moderated by Gabriele Natali, activist of the 022 group “Arese, Legnano, Saronno, and Solaro” of Amnesty International Italy. Following the conference, a theatrical performance by the theater school Caminante | Teatro Selvaggio titled Plastic and Ashes will take place. During the evening, Amnesty International’s genocide report, focusing on life in the West Bank and local realities, titled “You Feel as if You Were Subhuman” will be presented.
