The Way of Beauty: discover the Rho Sanctuary with the Oblate Fathers!

Starting in September, the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows, thanks to the kindness of the Missionary Oblate Fathers, will become part of the “Ways of Beauty” project, a historical, artistic, and spiritual itinerary established in 2021 by the Diocesis of Milan and the Youth Ministry, now in its second edition. The “Announcements of Beauty” promoted by the diocesis are not simply guided tours. The “guides” lead visitors to learn about the church, its art, and its history, in a “fresh” and non-academic style. The goal, however, is to show both the artistic side and the spiritual depth of the place they are visiting. The project involves the participation of a group of volunteers diverse in age, background, and training, but united by a desire to deepen their knowledge of this incredible place. The main goal of the “Announcements of Beauty” both in the diocesan project and in the new Rhodense project, the aim is to show how certain places, always under our gaze and integral parts of our lives, can hide details that we have never considered. It is not just art; it is about looking at the world with different eyes, increasingly recognizing the wonder around us.

On these dates, it will be possible to visit the sanctuary, following the planned itinerary. Schools will be engaged from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and for everyone else, the itinerary is scheduled in the afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
