The Oblate Fathers of Rho celebrate the Eve of the Immaculate Conception to the sounds of Gospel music!

On the occasion of the Eve celebration of the Immaculate Conception, the Oblate Missionary Fathers organized a special concert in collaboration with the Jazz Gospel Alchemy Association, a unique show to celebrate this special occasion together. The event will begin at 6:00 PM with the celebration of the Vigil Mass; following this, at 6:45 PM, the ceremony for the Blessing of the Artistic Nativity, donated to the Sanctuary by the painter Giuseppe Carsana, will take place. Carsana frescoed the seven sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the four evangelists on the pendentives of the dome. The work dates back to the second half of the 19th century, corresponding to the frescoes completed and signed in 1868. The nativity setup occupies the entire side chapel of Saint Anne, which serves as the interior of an open grotto, reaching a height of ten meters and nearly six meters in depth. At 7:00 PM, the concert by Jazz Gospel Alchemy will begin, bringing the evening to life with the unique melodies of Gospel Music. The event will end at 8:00 PM, when the magnificent Christmas Tree on the Sanctuary square will be lit.
