Me, Saint Francis
800 years of a great adventure. To celebrate Marian Week, the Missionary Oblate Fathers of Rho are presenting the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows as the venue for the Rho stop of the traveling exhibition Me, Saint Francis, the single-themed exhibition dedicated to the life and works of the Saint, open from Sunday, September 13 to Sunday, October 11. The goal of the exhibition is to recognize Francis of Assisi, the little poor man who lived fully in his humanity only by following the Gospel. The idea is to enter into the Brother’s experience, his restless humanity and the drama of his life that leads to joy and reconciliation, to promote a genuine encounter with Brother Francis by placing his Testament at the center of the narrative path, highlighting his anthropological shift, the unity of body and soul: the relationship with God, with oneself, with other people, and with Creation.
