La Scortecata: Emma Dante draws inspiration from Basile in her new show!
After the critically acclaimed Extra Moenia, presented exclusively regionally in Rho two months ago, Emma Dante returns with La Scortecata, inspired by Lo Cunto de li Cunti by Basile. A cruel and grotesque fairy tale, transformed into visionary theater thanks to her unmistakable direction. On stage, Salvatore D’Onofrio and Carmine Maringola tell a story of desire, deception, and metamorphosis. Popular tradition and contemporary language merge in an iconic and ironic show. A new, unmissable event that will strengthen the bond between the director and the audience of the Rho theater.
