Gandhi’s Experiments with Truth: The Force That Gives Life
The Municipality of Rho is organizing between March and May 2026, at the Sala Convegni of Villa Burba, a series of meetings called “Between East and West: from Violence to Nonviolence and Compassion,” a course dedicated to dialogue and comparison between some of the most significant figures and traditions of ethical and religious thought, from a cultural and spiritual perspective of a secular and human nature. Professor Gianni Vacchelli, through the figures of Francis of Assisi, Mohandas K. Gandhi, and the great wisdom traditions of the East, offers a comparison between experiences and models that continue to play a significant role in contemporary debate, especially in a context marked by conflicts, global tensions, and an increased need for paths of reconciliation. The second meeting, “Gandhi’s Experiments with Truth: The Force That Gives Life,” will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 9:00 PM.
Free entry until seats are filled.
