The Plague Column

In the same square there is also the Cross of the Plague. It was initially located at the intersection of the cardo with the decumanus, but it was moved next to the church in 1927. In reassembling the cross and raising it, a rusty shrine was found, in which there was a simple sheet accompanied by 11 Relics closed in paper envelopes, sealed with an Easter candle, as authentic. In 1998, the cross was repositioned in its original place where it still stands.
