Ancient, small church, built on the threshold of the seventeenth century

The ancient, small Church of Lucernate, built on the threshold of the seventeenth century thanks to the devotion of the Pagnani, is dedicated to the cult of the Virgin and several Saints as well as St. Francis and St. Anthony. The palace of the Counts Gorani, feudal lords of the place, after the Ghezzi, was annexed to it.

A treasure trove of works of art that constitutes one in its own right

Of harmonious proportions and extraordinary acoustics, it reveals the design finesse of the Prefect of the Fabbrica del Duomo, S. Mazenta. It houses valuable original works of art from the seventeenth century.
