Catasta of GRRIZ and TAMassociati

Art at the service of sustainability

Sustainability and circularity are the key principles of CATASTA, a work designed and built inside the Europa Park in Rho by the GRRIZ and TAMassociati studios – Italian Pavilion Venice Architecture Biennale 2016, with wood coming from the disassembly of the larch planks of Padilione Zero designed at EXPO 2015 by Michele De Lucchi.

Address:

Corso Europa, Rho MI

Open for visits:

The platform of possibilities

The intervention consists of 25 elements that overlap and fit together to create spaces for rest and conversation, for physical activity and for any other function the public will want to experiment. CATASTA is a platform of possibilities: everything and nothing at the same time. It changes functions instantly with accountability and approval.
