Between 1945 and 1947 Pula was occupied by the Slavs. They rob, rape and inflame Italians. The state does not intervene. Many have decided to flee. Maria has decided to stay. The father, to save his son.
Gianni and little Francesco flee into the night. They have nothing with them. Seven days of walking. On the forest path. To save himself. Life.
