The Christmas spirit arrives in Rho with the lighting of the tree in Piazza San Vittore!

The initiatives leading up to Christmas 2025 are about to begin. Kicking off the series of Christmas-themed events will be the unmissable lights, which will fill the city streets with brightness and will be turned on starting Friday, November 28: this year’s design, featuring two different types of snowflakes, is inspired by the MiCo26 Winter Olympic Games. On Saturday, November 29 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in the Sala Colonne of Villa Burba, master pastry chefs from Arte Panettone will offer Christmas sweets and sparkling wine near the Christmas Tree and will illustrate the history of panettone during the traditional unified-price market exhibition. The same schedule applies on Sunday, November 30. Admission is free, and tastings of the various creatively and imaginatively crafted types of panettone are planned. On the afternoon of Saturday, November 29, the Christmas tree in Piazza San Vittore, next to the Tourist Infopoint, is scheduled to be lit, and from 17:30 PM the City Parish Musical Band will accompany the event with themed music. The tree will be lit by Mayor Andrea Orlandi, accompanied by the president of the city’s Confcommercio delegation, Patrizia Giudici. Next to the seating in the square, a gazebo will be set up by Avis, the blood donors association, whose volunteers will provide red balloons for the children.
