Piazza Visconti will be inaugurated at the end of the urban redevelopment works

After two years of work, the new Piazza Luchino Visconti will finally be completed, redeveloped as a green center of social gathering for citizens, and it will be opened to the public on a day full of events. The celebration will start at 10:00 AM with the Parish City Musical Corps and the Santa Cecilia Musical Corps, which, starting from Largo Mazzini and the beginning of Via Madonna, will converge in front of the town hall. The flag-raising ceremony will take place in front of the new flagpoles. The Mayor Andrea Orlandi, Councillor Valentina Giro, Councillor Edoardo Marini, and the designer, the French landscape architect Michel Desvigne, will speak. After the ribbon-cutting, the residents of Rhodense will be able to admire the water features, with jets of various heights shooting from the linear fountain that crosses the square. The party will continue with stilt walkers, a soap bubble show that will take the stage at 4:00 PM, the attractions of Vintage Park for adults and children, and a photographic exhibition on the history of the Square. In the atrium of the Town Hall a video will show the transformation the area has undergone over the years.
