I see you, the Legend of the Basilisk: the modern fairy tale at De Silva!

The contemporary fairy tale by Emanuela Dall’Aglio comes to make everyone dream and feel. A large red skirt, like a mountain of fabric, becomes the stage for a narrative: a witch and her basilisk, the King of serpents, a symbol of fear and destruction, arrives in a peaceful village, throwing the inhabitants into terror. But is the basilisk really just evil? Or is it a prisoner of its nature? A child, with his reckless courage and sweetness, manages to meet him, confront him, and offer a chance for change. Thanks to knowledge, encounter, and a pinch of magic, the legend finds a new path: no one dies, neither the monster nor the village. Perhaps, the basilisk will find a friend.
