“By bike, really?”: Sustainability and road safety in Rho.
On Friday, February 20, at 9:00 PM, the Tourist Infopoint in Piazza San Vittore will host a meeting organized by the Rho branch of FIAB Milano Ciclobby APS, under the patronage of the Municipality of Rho. The meeting will focus on the topic “By bike, really? Sustainability and road safety in Rho.” This will be an opportunity for information and discussion dedicated to the future of urban mobility and the quality of public spaces. Speakers will include Paolo Ruffino, territorial economist, Valentina Giro, Councilor for Mobility for the Municipality of Rho, and Andrea Scagni, President of FIAB Milano. The meeting will be moderated by Samuel Tolentino, transport engineer and FIAB Rho representative. The goal is to promote sustainable mobility and inform residents of ongoing projects in the area. Road safety, cycling mobility, and the transformation of cities toward more sustainable models will be discussed. It will also be an opportunity to listen to citizens’ proposals and ideas, who are invited to express their opinions.
