At Villa Burba, the exhibition ‘Social Painting’ pays tribute to Franco Baraldi

Thirty years after the passing of Franco Baraldi, the Municipality of Rho and the Rotary Club Milano Rho Fiera Centenario celebrate and pay tribute to the Rhodian artist, master of the brush and a central figure of Lombard neorealism, with an initiative that highlights his cultural and human legacy, which is more relevant today than ever: solitude, urban sprawl, and isolation no longer affect just individuals, but entire populations. The project, supported by the Municipality of Rho, which awarded the artist a civic honor in 2025, was born out of the gratitude of his son Marco Baraldi and the family. Special thanks go to all those who contributed passionately to its realization. The retrospective exhibition “Franco Baraldi 1929-1995 – Social Painting” will be open from November 8 to 16 in the Sala Colonne and the Sala del Filatoio. The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, at 11:00 AM in Sala Colonne, Corso Europa 291.

The exhibition will remain open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until November 16 with the following hours: 10:00 AM-12:30 PM / 3:00 PM-6:30 PM

Free admission.
