Artchipel Orchestra plays Frank Zappa
The Artchipel Orchestra, conducted by Ferdinando Faraò, opens the new year with a bold and visionary project entirely dedicated to the music of Frank Zappa, one of the most brilliant and irreverent composers of the twentieth century. The selected repertoire explores some of the most emblematic pieces of his musical universe, reinterpreted through the sensitivity and expressive freedom that have always characterized the ensemble’s language. Artchipel’s approach stands out for its ability to combine fidelity and invention, moving naturally between strict composition and collective improvisation.
Arrangements by Beppe Barbera, Ferdinando Faraò, Marco Fior, Francesco Forges, Massimo Giuntoli, and Roberto Ottaviano
