Antifascist Pasta

In Campegine, on July 25, 1943, the Cervi family, upon returning from work in the countryside, upon learning of Mussolini’s dismissal, decided to celebrate and distribute free pasta to the population. “I’ve heard so many speeches about the end of fascism, but the most beautiful speech was that of boiled pasta.” Alcide Cervi.
