A Park open to Everyone: PLIS Festival on Sunday, May 24, 2026

The annual PLIS Festival will take place on Sunday, May 24, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with numerous activities planned within the green area that involves the territories of the Municipalities of Rho, Pregnana Milanese, Pogliano Milanese, and Vanzago. Planned with D.A.V.O. Agricultural District of the Olona Valley, whose farmers have offered to provide an entertainment moment for the little ones with their tractors and carts, and with the association Il Prisma-Amici del PLIS, which organizes walks in the green area and along the Olona, the festival sees the collaboration of many organizations that enliven the program of this outdoor festival. Councilor for the Environment of Rho Valentina Giro will coordinate Bimbimbici. At the Fontanile, there will be several stands present from the morning: in fact, several initiatives participate in the PLIS Festival, such as La Ghiandaia, which will provide entertainment for children from 5 to 10 years old, Bareggio Pulita, the solidarity purchasing group from Pregnana Milanese Gasinisti, Giuseppe and Tommy, who organize a creative mosaic activity in the afternoon, BEE Movement with an explanation of the world of bees thanks to an educational beehive, Apicoltura Valdarenne, La Famiglia Rhodense with a stand on old-fashioned wooden games, the two thematic exhibitions: “Immagini del Plis” and “Amica Terra: the seven goals of the Laudato si’ encyclical” curated by ACLI Vanzago, the exhibition of Rhodense artists curated by DipingeRho, Anni Verdi Pregnana and Andrea e Fiore with their creation of hollow pumpkins. For those who want to have lunch on site, there will be stands sponsored by D.A.V.O. including the Rhodense Brewery Ladybirra, I Fratelli Caronni and Oldani. Also in the afternoon, after 3:30 PM, children will be able to take a ride on the island with a tractor and cart thanks to D.A.V.O.
