Subtle signs – Sygyzy
The Quadrifoglio Gallery in Rho will inaugurate the exhibition “Segni Sottili – Syzygy” by Susi Manzo and Italo Mattei on Saturday, November 7th at 6:00 PM (with a critical text by Vera Agosti).
An exhibition, which will remain open until November 29, in which the works of the two artists enter into dialogue, creating a meeting between distinct elements, capable of connecting and generating new perspectives. The term Syzygy, used in astronomy to indicate the alignment of celestial bodies, thus becomes an evocative key to understanding.
Through carvings, layering, embroidery, and collage, Manzo explores the expressive possibilities of paper and fabric, shaping works in which light, matter, and transparency intertwine.
Mazzei instead develops research on color, geometry, and space, also inspired by the mysteries of the universe.
Two different sensibilities that meet in an exhibition journey in which signs, subtle but significant, build connections between matter and imagination, nature and the cosmos.
Opening hours of the exhibition:
Monday 10.00 – 12.30.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
Wednesday and Saturday 10.00 – 12.30 / 16.00 – 19.30.
Sunday, November 29, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
