FRANCIS: the saint, the man, the visionary
An 8-hour multimedia marathon that, with a moment of listening and discovery, closes 800 Years of Light – Rho celebrates Francis, the project by the Municipality of Rho dedicated to the celebrations of Saint Francis of Assisi. Not a commemoration, but a journey that takes us into the words, gestures, and choices that made Saint Francis a universal figure. Staying together for several hours means creating a temporary community of perception and reflection, capable of rediscovering the value of time dedicated to knowledge and dialogue. From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Ridotto of the De Silva Civic Theater, there will be a pre-marathon with the presentation of the project At the Table with the Wolf, curated by teachers Annamaria Tortiello and Silvia Montesano with the children from the Via Dei Ronchi and Giovanni Pascoli Kindergarten in Rho, with free entry. This will be followed by access to the marathon in the main hall with a ticket. Dinner will be eaten during the mid-marathon break.
