The Red Hall reopens

The Red Hall of the Padre Reina Auditorium, renovated after refurbishment works, will be inaugurated on Tuesday, September 29. The ribbon-cutting, open to the public, will take place at 6:30 PM, followed by speeches from Barz and Hippo, the Culture Councilor Valentina Giro, and the Mayor of Rho, Andrea Orlandi. Around 7:00 PM, the short documentary “Cinema Belongs to Those Who Watch It,” lasting about 30 minutes, will be shown for free, while seats last. Afterward, visitors will be able to tour the renovated room and join a toast in the lobby to celebrate the refreshed space and kick off the new film season. The inaugural ceremony will end at 8:30 PM, leaving time for the cinema screenings. At 9:00 PM, in fact, the new season will kick off, ahead of the Anteprima Cin&Città, with the first screening of the film “NAZA,” the documentary by Israeli directors Rachel Szork and Yuval Abraham that gathers testimonies from Israeli army soldiers and intelligence officers who, after October 7, 2023, planned the destruction of Gaza and the annihilation of the civilians living there, presented at the Venice Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Prize.
