An even livelier autumn at the Roberto De Silva Civic Theater: Paolo Kessisoglu is coming to the stage, in fact, for two special evenings in Rho on December 11 and 12 at 9:00 PM, to try out his new show, ‘Sfidati di me,’ a brilliant comedy that will premiere nationally on the de Silva stage. It is an event designed to bring even more people closer to the theater, offering a stimulating, passionate experience capable of speaking to the present with intelligence and lightness. Sfidati di me,’ written by Paolo Kessisoglu and Giorgio Terruzzi and directed by Gioele Dix, tells the story of a father who arrives at the emergency room where his teenage son has been admitted following an accident. His condition is unclear, and the wait turns into a tragicomic inner journey. The monologue becomes an imaginary dialogue made of misunderstandings; impatience and unconditional love. It is rendered ironic, paradoxical, and painful by a mutual inadequacy, by the mystery that separates, today more than yesterday, two generations, within a time that is too fast, full of clichés, trivial distractions, and unspoken suffering. The theme is topical and cross-cutting, concerning the complicated communication that often pushes parents and children apart. With a surprising and politically incorrect ending.
