The neo-medieval style that recalls that of the Palazzo Podestarile

Among the important activities that flourished in that period in the spinning sector, the Tintoria Bonecchi was founded in 1905. It reached a remarkable development in 1932, with modern and efficient machinery for the time and from that era is the beautiful Palazzina in Neo-Medieval style recalling the style of the Palazzo Podestarile. It also opened a plant in Bulgaria, making it one of the first companies to outsource to countries with low labor costs. Still in the field of manufacturing, an important development was given by the Chatillon, a large factory located behind the station that produced artificial silk.
