Typical building of Italian rationalism now headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza
During the Fascist period, about 5000 buildings were specially built throughout Italy, designed by Italian rationalist architects, to house the “Casa del Fascio”. One of these was built in Rho, which had recently been elevated to the rank of city, and was inaugurated in 1935. The rooms are characterized by very high ceilings and very large spaces.
